What Incoterms does Hicey use?

When handling export orders for our 3D fruit-shaped ice cream and other frozen novelties, we primarily operate under FOB (Free On Board). However, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) are also available upon request to accommodate different importer logistics capabilities and destination market requirements.

How to choose between FOB, CIF and DDP?

The selection should depend on where you want cold-chain responsibility to change hands, rather than simply who books the freight. Under FOB, we clear export customs and load the reefer container onto the vessel at the departure port, after which the buyer takes over shipping risk and freight management. Under CIF, we arrange marine insurance and freight to the destination port. Under DDP, we manage the entire logistics chain through to your warehouse, subject to specific route and destination feasibility.

Why is landed cost different from factory quotation?
